It's that time again: The Global Game Jam 2022 is just around the corner and the GameLab of HfG Karlsruhe will participate again!

This year the GGJ will take place completely online. Hopefully next year it will be possible to host the GGJ in the Lichthöfe again.

From Friday, 01/28/2022 starting at 5pm (better be there a little earlier) until Sunday, 01/30/2022 at 5pm games will be developed on a Discord Server set up for this purpose on a worldwide given theme.

Within these 48 hours, participants have the opportunity to give free rein to their creativity and to put game ideas into practice together with other motivated people. This free global event will be held in parallel at hundreds of different jam sites.

There are no prerequisites regarding basic skills. Any skill can be used within such a jam. And what the participants don't know yet, they will learn then at the latest.
