On Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 6 p.m., the summer semester 2022 at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe will be opened in a short ceremony.

The university welcomes students, new employees, professors and members of the HfG Karlsruhe in a festive opening of the semester. Another highlight is the presentation of diplomas to the graduates.

Studies at the HfG Karlsruhe are fundamentally dedicated to shaping the future. The focus is on concrete questions: How can digitalization help to improve people's lives? What contribution can art and design make to putting the latest technologies at the service of an inclusive and solidary society? What philosophical, media and art theoretical thoughts are required to critically question social change? Right from the start, students at the HfG Karlsruhe learn to work independently on projects and issues and to develop sustainable solutions. In this way, the university prepares them in the best possible way to deal with a complex and diverse reality and to take on responsible tasks in a wide variety of fields.
