On 02.03.23 the diploma exhibition Ephemeral Antipodes will open at 6pm in the Large Studio of the HfG. The work is designed as an interactive, space-occupying sound installation, which can also be discovered online as a livestream via zwerina.com.

Simple power cables or the veins of the electronic world grow into copper sculptures that visitors can walk through and experience. Touch creates sound through analog components on circuit boards, and fragile speakers set in sound collapse under the weight of their own resonance.

Ephemeral Antipodes is a place that makes one aware of peripheral emotions. before one's eyes. An overwhelming real-time simulation of possible action without result and ideal and ideal solution. Cause and effect - mutually provoking catalysts that increase from monotonous routine into unreflective impulsivity.
An experiment on perception and irritability. A simulation between control and transgression of boundaries, which finds a possible end in its overstimulance and the resulting collapse.

Additional opening hours:
03-09.03.2023, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Barrier-free access within the installation:
06-09.03.2023, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and on request.
