SIGN TIME TACO is part of the series Intensive Caare and an evening with Isfrid Angard Siljehaug and Rebecca Stephany.
Intensive Caare offers an open structure for experiential, one-off “evening classes” with, for and beyond the people of HfG Karlsruhe. Its spirit image has been the particular climate of life drawing sessions, a sense of shared and sticky attention, rehearsing while imitating while appropriating a body (or thing or thought), through eyes, hand, mind or does it matter.
Isfrid Angard Siljehaug is a Norwegian artist, writer and weaver-in-training, currently based in Basel. Fascinated by drawing as a primal gesture of touch, Isfrid’s practice is invested in symbols and motifs that have recurred throughout time and space. At the moment, she is practicing knowing all images by heart.
Rebecca Stephany is currently teaching at HfG Karlsruhe and initiated Intensive Caare in 2016.
Together, Isfrid and Rebecca have been collaborating on prop and costume-heavy performances since 2010, drawing from everlasting misunderstandings and mutual affection alike.
