Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili was born in 1979 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She emigrated with her family to New York in the 1990s where she went on to study photography at Bard College. Her solo shows include „Georgian Ornament“ at Les Rencontres d’Arles, 2021, „Boiled Language“ at LC Quiesser, Tbilisi, 2019 and „Hollow Body“ at Koelnischer Kunstverein, Cologne, 2016. Group shows include „Studio Berlin“ at Berghain, Berlin, 2020, „Produktion: Made in Gemrany 3“ at Sprengel Museum Hannover, 2017 and „Surround Audience“ at New Museum, New York, 2015 among others. She lives in Berlin.`
