Celestial Bodies is a collection of figures collected from various depictions of the sky, some old, some new, some mythical, some corporeal. In an accumulation of drawings and short comic strips, these 84 figures collide in a series of encounters, mixing historical records and personal fiction. The lighthearted drawings are grouped into thematic chapters, exploring amongst others gender roles, science/rational thought and perceived motion, while an index of figures and citations preserves the historical context of the characters.
