Shui Zong’s work deals with the complex topic of artificial intelligence, which is gaining importance in science and technology. The artist developed a possible future scenario presented in the form of a spatial installation. The scenario is based on the idea that people live together with home robots that serve them. When purchasing a robot, a training room is provided where the humanoid robot can learn new skills. The aim of the training is to equip the robots with human-like attributes so that the robot can then simulate them. The learning videos of the robots are visualized in the training room for the owner. Sixteen images hang on a trampoline net, which can be activated with an augmented reality app. In a similar way to scanning a QR code, the built-in camera app scans the image and brings it to life.
