Ascension and Vice Versa features a generative work created using data from 118 historical artworks. The abstract expressionist character of the work relies on the phenomena of data transition and flow simulation, whereas the main content actually remains intact.
This work investigates the concept of novelty in promoting old narratives through the use of new media.
