In cooperation with students of the technical vocational college the Heinrich Hertz School and its social worker Sabine Heitmann, Isabel Motz, Janosch Kratz, Timothée Charon and Moritz Schottmüller developed the design for five columns in the school assembly hall. School with Courage - School Against Racism is a nationwide network of schools in which pupils actively work against discrimination.

The pupils had the wish to design the five columns in the assembly hall, as they are central to the hustle and bustle of the break and have stood in the building in a very sad state up till now. Over the course of several workshop days, students worked with up to ten pupils in various techniques to create poems, cut-outs and drawings on the topics of religion, inclusivity, sexuality/gender, social background and nationality. The resulting works were then printed on wallpaper and attached to the four-metre-high columns. At the end of the project, the results were presented to the students of the Heinrich Hertz School, the college and some other guests at an opening event.
