The Layout Club met weekly during the first Covid lockdown in the summer semester 2020. Each week the club’s members worked to subvert gridded, systematic, automatic and lifeless layout practices. Borrowing from domestic hoarders, geological forces, and the anachronistic accumulation of urban space, this publication compiles work made by members in response to a series of graphic exercises.
