The Materials Carousel is a first step toward a self-managed materials warehouse at the HfG Karlsruhe. It is intended to highlight which materials accumulate over the course of the academic year and invites everyone to reflect together on how these materials can be stored, organized, and reused. The carousel serves as a place for information and learning, a prototype exchange platform, and a roundtable—to develop and document initial steps.
On two dates—July 18 and 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day— there will be a program and opportunities for exchange for university members and visitors.
The Material Carousel is a project within the framework of the HfG’s Energy and Climate Protection Concept and is also part of “And Now! Sustainability Weeks” organized by the Karlsruhe Sustainable Culture Network.
