Taking an urban location in Karlsruhe as their starting point, the students created seven short films that blend elements of documentary, fiction, essay, and experimental film.
The resulting works focus on the question of how a place can be perceived, explored, and translated into images, sounds, and movements. Through research, observation, and hands-on camera work, the students created their own films, which will be screened as part of the tour at the Blauer Salon, the university’s own movie theater."
