The Daniel Libeskind Research Studio existed at the HfG Karlsruhe from 1999 till 2003. The book presents all artistic projects and theoretical approaches created during the professorship of the architect Daniel Libeskind. Students from different disciplines – New Media Art, Stage Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, Science of Art and Philosophy – researched about space and focused on different aspects of the particular topic. These works are documented widely within the seminar context. Additionally, various workshops, concerts and lectures held by guest artist, philosophers and musicians are presented. The book includes numerous photographs and illustrations as well as forewords by Andreas Voigt, Daniel Libeskind, Peter Sloterdijk, and Jacob Birken. It is bilingual in English and German.
