Reimbursement of expenses

Expenses for goods or services can be reimbursed under certain conditions. These can be found in the information sheet.
If you wish to be reimbursed, please complete the application for reimbursement of expenses. The Finance department is responsible for checking this. They will be happy to advise you if you have any questions.

Working time regulation and recording

The university and the Staff Council have concluded the following service agreement to regulate working hours and the recording of working hours at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG):

A contract for work and services is a contract in which the contractor undertakes to independently produce a self-contained work and the client undertakes to pay the agreed remuneration (§ 631 ff of the German Civil Code). Every employee must be aware of safe behavior and the associated rights and obligations. Carsharing

The HfG Karlsruhe is a member of “Stadtmobil CarSharing Karlsruhe” and offers its employees the opportunity to borrow vehicles for business purposes.

Prerequisites:

  1. you have a business trip application approved by your supervisor for the trip

IMPORTANT: Please submit the business trip application in good time, without an approved business trip it is not possible to register the loan!

  1. you have a valid driver's license for the required vehicle category and can present it to the Stadtmobil representative.
  2. you register the trip with the Stadtmobil representative at least 1 week in advance.
  3. you sign the service instructions and the rules for the use of car sharing vehicles contained therein.

Teleworking, “home office”, can contribute to reconciling the family and professional requirements of employees with the official interests of HfG Karlsruhe. The aim of the service agreement is to further improve the compatibility of work and family life and to enable employees to work more flexibly in terms of time and space.
