Studios and Workshops | HfG Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design was first established as a progressive school on April 15, 1992. It was founded by Heinrich Klotz between the years 1989 and 1992, together with the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. The combination of teaching, research, and exhibition institutions addresses the given artistic and pedagogic task of relating traditional arts to media technology and electronic production processes.

The various studios and workshops with excellent facilities are open to all areas of study. They support students’ learning processes in a practical approach and are available to all affiliates of the university for their artistic projects.
