“Tower Whispers”
NICOLAS FEHR and JULIANE SCHMITT
Kunstverein Wilhelmshöhe Ettlingen e. V. Opening 14.02.2025 at 7 pm Exhibition period 15.02.2025 - 30.3.2025
Welcome: Werner Meyer Introduction: Olga Hohmann The opening will be accompanied by a performance by Juliane Schmitt.
In the exhibition “Tower Whispers”, Nicolas Fehr (Berlin) and Juliane Schmitt (Brussels), both graduates of the HfG Karlsruhe, open a dialog between tradition and transformation. Their installative works of sound, video and sculpture explore the boundaries between past and present: while Schmitt transforms a medieval organ portative into unexpected worlds of sound through artistic interpretation in “Hesitant Resonant Calcant”, Fehr unfolds a spatial narrative between subcultural poetry and a mystical fairytale world in “The Charm”.
Please note: The performance will take place from 19:45 to 20:15. In order to allow a protected moment for the artistic work, admission is briefly paused during this time - we look forward to seeing you before or after.
