The student-run cinema Kino im Blauen Salon invites you to its seventh open-air cinema event on the lawn in front of the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design from June 12–15 and June 18–22, 2026. For nine summer evenings, the green space between the university and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office will be transformed into an atmospheric open-air cinema.
This year’s program focuses on debut films by influential directors in film history, which will be shown in impressive 35mm projection on a large inflatable screen. The open-air cinema thus remains true to its analog tradition and brings film history to life in its original form.
