Scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Committee, which is appointed by the Senate. The allocation of funds by the Ministry of Science and Research is subject to the availability of funds. Scholarships are awarded in the form of a grant, not exceeding 1000 EUR per month. The expected scholarship period is September 2025 to August 2026. For budgetary reasons, the scholarship will be paid in a single instalment after it has been awarded. There is no entitlement to a scholarship or special allowance.

Eligibility for funding:
Anyone who already receives funding from public or private organisations for the same project cannot receive the scholarship.
Annual income from employment for up to half of the regular working time is not taken into account. Annual income from employment for more than half of the normal working hours must be declared if it exceeds EUR 20,000 (after tax). This must be declared to the scholarship provider at the time of application, and any changes during the scholarship period must be reported immediately.

Reporting requirements:
The scholarship provider must be informed immediately of any change in income or an interruption/cancellation of the work project. An interim report on the progress of the work must be submitted during the funding period.
