This year’s ARD Hörspieltage in Karlsruhe promises four days filled with the art of radio drama, innovative formats, and live experiences.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, November 5, with the opening ceremony featuring the panel discussion “What Makes Us Laugh?”. The rest of the program features exciting radio drama performances, live radio dramas, and the “Night of the Radio Drama”. Highlights include Tommy Neuwirth, the Lauscherlounge with “Holmes & Watson” and “1001 Nights”, as well as numerous other radio drama productions and special program highlights.
The program is complemented by interactive activities that invite the audience to participate and explore. At the Opening Party x ARTtoNight, DJ Lars Eidinger will provide the musical entertainment. On Saturday, The Razzzones will bring the dance floor to life. Sunday is geared especially toward young visitors: The ARD Children’s Radio Play Day features a variety of experiences for the whole family, including “Princess Rosenblüte,” “The Meyers from Mars,” a meet-and-greet with Die MAUS, and a participatory mystery.
Admission to the ARD Radio Play Days is free. However, tickets are required for select events.
