As part of Baden-Württemberg's annual Study Information Day, prospective students, parents, and anyone interested in higher education are invited to explore the study opportunities offered by the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG Karlsruhe). The event provides a chance to get to know the HfG, ask questions, and gain a vivid impression of studying at an art and design university.

The individual departments will introduce their degree programmes and provide insights into their content, working methods, and application procedures. Guided tours through the university offer visitors the opportunity to discover studios, workshops, and seminar rooms. Small hands-on activities invite participants to experience the artistic and design-oriented practice of the HfG first-hand.

Prospective applicants for the Diplom degree programmes can also take advantage of portfolio consultations, where they can present their own work and discuss individual questions regarding the application process.

As an added bonus, visitors to the Study Information Day receive free admission to the ZKM | Center for Art and Media and the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe. This makes it easy to combine a visit to the HfG with an exploration of Karlsruhe's vibrant art and cultural scene.
