The HfG Karlsruhe is pleased to announce the release of the debut album Gassi by Enna Erben, the alter ego of HfG student Luise Peschko. The album will be released on vinyl on November 29, 2025 by the Karlsruhe label Studio Heinz Records.

In 2022, HfG student Luise Peschko created the 70-year-old Kurpfalz native Enna Erben. Enna Erben is a music project, performance art, and social research all at once – her debut album Gassi is an invitation and a manifesto: for shared wonder, failure, and the courage to be vulnerable.

Over the past two years, the 70-year-old native of the Electoral Palatinate has secured a firm place in the cultural scene of Karlsruhe, her adopted home town. She puts herself in the public eye to explore shame, insecurity, and social norms. She sings loudly, plays the melodica, dances the bolero in the subway, and creates lively performances out of moments of embarrassment about breaking out of familiar patterns.
In her first album, Gassi, which will be released on vinyl on November 29, 2025, by the Karlsruhe label Studio Heinz Records, Enna Erben explores the public self: Where does the social self, where does the role end, and when does shame become political? Musically, she oscillates between electropop, post-punk, rap, and chanson, but she can hardly be pigeonholed. Her songs sound as if they stumble out of the middle of life—groping, searching, and sometimes awkward, but always with wit, charm, and radical gentleness.

Release party on November 29, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
at the record store Studio Eins Records - Karlstraße 85, 76137 Karlsruhe
