With IT'S OKAY NOW, artists Isabelle Konrad and Gloria Müller present a cinematic installation that explores memory, origin and identity from an autobiographical perspective. In a sensitive interplay of fictional scenes and archive material, a multi-layered narrative is created that merges personal and collective memory. Remembering is not only understood as a reflexive tool, but also as a dreamlike practice - as a processing and rearrangement of past experiences.

The exhibition is part of a new pilot project at the HfG Karlsruhe, which was developed in collaboration with the ABA Project Space Berlin. The aim of the project is to show selected diploma theses by HfG alumni in Berlin once or twice a year in future, thus creating a long-term platform for exchange between Karlsruhe and Berlin.

The project is supported by Prof. Susanne Kriemann, Prof. Constanze Fischbeck and Filipa César. It brings together perspectives from the Exhibition Design and Scenography (ADSZ) and Media Art (MK) specialist groups.

The ABA Project Space is currently located in Berlin's Wedding district and will become part of the Haus der Statistik model project at Alexanderplatz in 2026 - a place for art, education and social urban development.
