aspect-ratio 10x9

The HfG Karlsruhe strongly condemns the attacks on Ukraine. We are deeply shocked by the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, which is against international law. Stunned we follow the events and show our solidarity with the people who have to fear for their well-being and their lives at this moment.

At the same time, we want to remember the courageous civilian population of Russia, which does not remain silent in its own country and raises its voice, although it is exposed to repressive measures.

We are committed to the liberal democratic principles of our university and, as part of the global artistic community, we will, especially in these times, work more intensively for peaceful coexistence and the free and cross-border exchange of all people. This is especially true when acts of war, long thought impossible today, are taking place in Europe.
